In timpul filmarilor la Incredible Hulk, s-a dus vorba ca Norton nu a fost foarte usor de manevrat, dar that’s Norton for you. Tipul chiar a rescris si o parte din scenariul scris de Zak Penn. Doi ani mai tarziu, dupa ce Incredible Hulk a fost primit caldut dar nu a avut mare succes, Marvel anunta ca pentru filmul Avengers va cauta ALT actor pentru Hulk. Deci Eric Bana nu le-a placut. Edward Norton nici atat. Urmeaza un ALT actor, iar acum se zvoneste ca Joaquin Phoenix ar fi primit o oferta dar nimic nu e stabilit.

In plus, Kevin Feige a declarat ca motivul pentru care vor un recast este pentru ca au nevoie de un “actor care sa lucreze bine in echipa”. OUCH! CULVER CITY, Calif., July 1, 2010 – After a comprehensive worldwide casting search, Andrew Garfield has been chosen to portray Peter Parker when Spider-Man swings back onto the screen in 3D on July 3, 2012. The new film will begin production in early December directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt. Laura Ziskin and Avi Arad will produce the film from Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios.

Today’s confirmation culminates what has been one of the most eagerly anticipated casting announcements in recent memory. Bloggers, pop culture speculators, and everyday fans have pored over and analyzed every conceivable online rumor in an attempt to discover the identity of the next actor to play Peter Parker. Garfield will immediately begin preparing for the coveted role.

The Spider-Man franchise is one of the most successful in film history and the three previous motion pictures have collectively grossed more than $2.5 billion in worldwide box office.

On selecting Garfield, director Marc Webb said, “Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents. He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and humanity. Mark my words, you will love Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker.”

Garfield is fast becoming one of the most respected and sought-after young actors working in the industry today. In a short career, spanning only five years, he has already been directed by, and starred alongside, some of the greatest names and received a BAFTA for a role that won him international praise.

Garfield most recently worked with director David Fincher on the upcoming film The Social Network. He previously starred for Spike Jonze on his robot love story I’m Here, which premiered at Sundance this year. Si deloc surprinzator, nu arata deloc comod! Dar desi nu arata comod, I bet it will look awesome! Schimbarea mea preferata este ca au inlocuit dungile rosii de pe abdomen cu utility belt pe care le-au facut rosii. Care bineinteles ca nu servesc nicio functie. Form over function my darlings!

Update! Dupa AICN acum e randul lui Collider sa primeasca drept cadou niste imagini concept, dar pentru Thor! Sincer, imi place costumul lui Captain America mai mult pentru ca cel putin are un look militar. Cu acest costum Thor basically looks like an alien si inteleg ce spunea Chris Hemsworth mai devreme ca este incomod ca naiba. Pare SI MAI incomod decat costumul lui Cap si nu prea vad cum o sa aiba vreo lupta in el. Acestea fiind spuse, I love Mjolnir si faptul ca lumina din piatra se continua in maner. Pretty cool.
