Beyonce talks out of her gorgeus ass about playing Wonder Woman

comicbook movie is reporting that Beyonce recently spoke out at a press conference about starting to shoot Wonder Woman in mid 2010. She also gave details about the writer and director. The Writers are Stuart Beatti and David Elliot, these are the same guys that wrote GI Joe: Rise of Cobra. The irony of course is that I accepted a lot of things from GI Joe as a fun action movie, EXCEPT the female characters, which I felt were utter crap (in terms of writing mind you). Beyonce also added that John Moore would direct the film. Unfortunately, he’s the guy that directed Max Payne.
Now I’m expecting any day now to hear that we’re being punk’d but on the off chance that we’re not, let me go out on a limb and say this. For the role of Wonder Woman I will not except anything less than would prefer a beautiful, blue eyed, brunette creature that passes without being dipped into bleach as a cau-FUCKING-casian. Why? Not cause I’m racist, but because one would never accept a black Batman or a black Superman, and Wonder Woman is exactly in the same league. Heck, they are litterally PART of a league together.
It’s about the power of a symbol really. That’s what made Superman and Batman hold out for so long. They are symbols, legends, metaphors for the human spirit. And they are tricky things, hard to make work, even without the mandatory “Oh mah GOSH! There’s Beyonce!” in this particular case.
